European facial
A facial cleans, exfoliates and nourishes the skin to promote clear,
well-hydrated skin.
A facial involves a few basic steps:
|
● |
Cleansing |
|
● |
Skin analysis, where the esthetician puts eye pads over your eyes
and looks at your skin through a brightly lit magnifying lamp |
|
● |
Exfoliation |
|
● |
Extraction of blackheads if you want it and if it is suitable for
your skin type. |
|
● |
Facial massage to relax you and stimulate your skin and facial
muscles |
|
● |
A mask targeted to your skin type (dry, oily, combination,
sensitive, mature.) |
|
● |
Application of toners and protective creams |
|

Advice on home skin care |
It normally takes four to six weeks for skin cells to regenerate,
so it is beneficial to have regular facials at those intervals. It is also
helpful to get facials at the changing of the seasons since weather patterns can
have varying effects on the skin. |
